Žumberk

A Gothic fortress from the 15th century, rebuilt in the Renaissance style , since the early 17th century used as a utility building, reconstructed in the 70-ies of the 20th century for museum purposes. A consisting part of a fortified village  with fortifications and bastions. Historical interiors, the history of the fortress and the village. Exposition of folk hand-painted furniture from the southern Bohemia. One of the three preserved fortified villages in Europe.
