Locality:
The ZOO is located in a flood-plain forest in the outskirts of the town. Parking is situated in front of the entrance gate. In the ZOO complex you can find a children’s playground, refreshment and souvenir stalls.

Budgerigars, carnivores, and rare and endangered species. It participates in 3 European preservation programs of the EEP.
Breeds:
159 mammals in 51 species, 322 birds in 63 species, 6 reptiles in 4 species.
The most significant species:
Zebra, chimpanzee, brown bear, jaguar, tiger, kangaroos, horse steinbock, camel, macaw, Coffin’s cockatoo, and other species. The number of breeding species listed in the Red Book of endangered animals: 15, the number of breeding species endangered in Czech nature: 8.
Recommended visit:
Pavilion of exotic birds, pavilion of primates and “exotariums”.
Rarity:
The most advanced pavilion of anthropoid apes in the Czech republic, where you can observe animals at any time of the day, outside or inside. Visitors can watch the lit paddocks from a dark spot and seeing is accompanied by imitation of sounds from tropical forests (such as a tropical storm).
Transportation:
Hodonín is situated on the main railway between Břeclav and Přerov.
