Vranov Reservoir, which has proudly been nicknamed the Adriatic of Moravia, is a popular summer recreational area. You certainly won’t be bored. Apart from swimming, rowing and paddle boat rental or various sports fields, you will find several chateaux and castles in the surrounding area and sightseeing trips by boat are a pleasant way to spend some time. Valentýn and Viktorie are two boats which will take you round all the nooks and crannies of Vranov Reservoir. The tradition of boat trips on this large reservoir in South Moravia dates back to 1934, when the first motor boat named Máša was launched carrying approximately forty people. Nowadays the capacity is two to three times greater. Choose from the offer of regular boat trips, a sightseeing tour all the way to medieval Bítov Castle, or during the summer holidays, a special evening cruise with wine and cheese tasting session.
