For avid horse lovers, the oldest major stud farm in the world, located in Kladruby near Pardubice, is paradise. You can view Kladruber Old White horses and also a small herd of Czech Thoroughbreds. In addition to tours you can take a horseback riding lesson or a carriage ride. Also of interest is a collection of historical carriages – among the prized examples is the coach of the first Czechoslovak president, T.G. Masaryk. In addition to 15 coaches you can also view horse-drawn sleighs.
