In the summer months the zoo in Dvůr Králové is famous for its evening safari, the only one in Europe. The ride evokes the atmosphere of deepest Africa; you’ll see 600 animals native to Africa in twelve separate sections, five of which hold birds and hoofed animals. You can observe the wildlife through the windows – there’s plenty of room and no bars getting in your way. After the two-hour tour you can stroll around the classic zoo where there are over 2,300 animals from around the world. Accommodation is provided at the hotel Safari and at the unique Safari campsite, where you can stay in bungalows with views of the animals or in your own tents and caravans.
