The early Baroque chateau in Holešov attracts visitors for tours of its observatory, where you will be guided by an astronomer in Baroque costume. You can view the stars in the sky and explore the reading room. The chateau features a unique arrangement of fruit orchards where more than 50 varieties of fruit are cultivated. Equally worthy of attention is a large park with a system of water canals built according to the French model. The park transitions into an English game preserve. In the Rose Garden you will see a memorial to a distinguished native son – the composer F.X. Richter.
