Follow in the footsteps of the Sternberg family and take a tour of Český Šternberk Castle’s 15 richly adorned rooms: the Knights’ Hall holding a number of precious artefacts, the richly decorated Chapel of St. Sebastian, the Yellow Room in the Louis XVI style and a cosy library containing several thousand volumes. Take a peek into the study of Jiří Sternberg, where you’ll find a family tree going back six generations. Fans of the hunt will like the Hunting Salon containing a number of trophies. While at the castle don’t forget to see the dungeon, an example of early Gothic fortification standing in front of the castle.
