The golf course in Svachova Lhotka just outside Český Krumlov is an original South Bohemian combination of flat and undulating greens, short as well as long par-four and several par-three holes. The two best known holes – 8 and 18 – are situated near the hotel complex and are a memorable experience for players. There are no championship tees and the length of the course is nowhere near 6,000 meters; this, however, makes the course a favourite place for golfers with a double-digit handicap, or newcomers to the world of golf, as they do not have to fire their ball 250 meters with their first swing. The course was built bei in the years 2004 – 2008.
