At Veletržní Palace, which is one of the exhibition spaces of the National Gallery in Prague, you have the unique opportunity to see the “Slav Epic” by Alfonse Mucha, which will be on display here until 30 September 2013. This renowned cycle of 20 paintings was recently moved here from the chateau in the Moravský Krumlov. Each individual canvas is connected to the other ones, thus you can enjoy this monumental cycle of works in its entirety. The permanent exhibition, which is spread over three floors of the vast Veletržní Palace, offers around 2,000 works by key Czech artists of the past two centuries along with works by important international artists.
