You will find excellent conditions for cross-country skiing in Nové Město na Moravě. The area boasts reinforced cross-country trails with artificial lighting where the natural snow can be topped up by snowmaking machines. In addition to the dozens of kilometres of groomed trails you will appreciate the tunnels leading under the motorway and especially the cross-country stadium, near which you can try out the popular 5- and 10-kilometre trails. Nové Město also offers an interesting look into the history of skiing in the Horácké Museum, where you can trace the development of the sport as well as learn about the production of skis.
