The oldest Czech golf club was first opened in 1904. The existing golf course, upgraded on several occasions, has been in use since 1933. The course is situated along the Prague – Karlovy Vary road in the beautiful landscape of the Krušné hory Mountains. It ranks among the best golf courses in the Czech Republic. There is a relaxation centre located right in the club house. The course provides a habitat for a critically endangered animal, the European souslik, which is considered to be the club’s mascot.
