The city of Prague can boast of the seventh best zoo in the world. The zoo has prepared a rich program for the summer season in addition to the 12 pavilions and more than 150 exhibitions. At the beginning of the holiday season you can look forward to "Indian Summer", in August the "Month of giraffes." In addition, every weekend the popular animal feeding takes place in the Prague Zoo, during which you can admire the new additions. Since the beginning of the year over 300 offspring have been born there in more than 70 species, the youngest currently being a calf bison.

The Zlín Zoo and Lešná Chateau, where you will become acquainted with 210 different animal species, is one of the most visited zoos in the Czech Republic. The original layout of the garden represents the life of animals by continent - from sunny Ethiopia with elephants and giraffes with easy access to the tropical Amazon with sea lions and Asia with pandas. During the summer months the Zlín Zoo also opens its doors several times in the evening. If you want to see young geladas or Ussuri tigers, do not hesitate to visit.

Water adventure and relaxation in aquaparks

The amount of attractions and entertainment offered in the warm summer days and water parks and swimming pools. Water fun in the pool can be alternated with relaxing on the terrace with a unique view of the Ještěd transmission tower, a unique architectural monument built in the Technicist style. You can also top off your day at the fun center by wandering in the mirror labyrinth or experimenting with science. Part of Babylon is indeed the first science park in the Czech Republic, where you will find two hundred interactive exhibits including a Fakir’s bed.

Test the speed of bobsled tracks throughout the Czech Republic

Bob sled tracks are without a doubt an interesting tip for a trip or to liven up your vacation. You can enjoy the wind in your hair and speeds of around 60 km/h with your children throughout the Czech Republic. In Prague, there is a bobsled track of almost 1 km which offers a number of cool features. After a thrilling ride in this building, you can try the expanded rope park, climbing wall and table football.

The bobsleigh track at Lipno is one of the world leaders, due to its diversity and length. You get to the start via a lift and then you zoom through 2 tunnels, several breaks and 21 turns. Families with small children will also have a great time at Lipno. A unique tree-top trail ending with a lookout tower is accessible for strollers. It rises to an impressive height of 40 meters, truly leads directly through the treetops and offers a unique view of the Bohemian Forest and the Alps.

Amusement parks: everything under one roof, and the Czech Republic in the palm of your hand

If you can’t make a decision at home about where to go, amusement parks offer the ideal solution. Mirakulum park, which includes a mini-zoo with herds of mini donkeys and Dutch mini goats, a natural underground maze, climbing center and a huge trampoline is located close to Prague. A new feature this season is places for family barbecues and picnics. Similar attractions are offered by Fun Park in Brno and Adreanalin Park in Jeseníky.

Would you like to get to know the entire Czech Republic, but there is little time to travel? Head to the Boheminium Park in Mariánské Lázně, where you will find models of major construction and engineering Czech monuments in a scale of 1:25. A miniature Karlštejn or Lednice Minaret are complemented by colorful figurines of princesses and knights and a large yard. The largest in the Czech Republic, however, can be admired in the Railway Kingdom in Prague. All little boys will definitely be fascinated by the model trains and cars, which give way at intersections, the alternating day and night mode or the miniatures of important buildings.
