The Bohemian Crown Jewels Exhibition
Prague Castle, as well as its protected area which also includes archaeological findings, are recognized parts No. 1 of the Czech cultural heritage. The Bohemian Crown Jewels rank second to this national bequest. The Crown Jewels are permanently safely kept in Prague Castle and may be displayed exclusively in its area, eg. this year from 10th – 19th May 2013, daily from 9am to 6pm.
Access to the exhibition
Visitors can access the exhibition only via Old Castle Steps through Southern Gardens of the Prague Castle and from there up by Bull's Staircase to the 3rd Courtyard enter the Old Royal Palace. The Prague Castle Administration does not issue time tickets or waiting lists (the exhibition is accessible only by waiting in a queue). Please note, that according to last years' experience the waiting time is approx. 4 to 5 hours. Toilets and refreshments are at visitors' disposal.
The maximum number of visitors per day will be regulated
The maximum visitors' capacity of the exhibition space is approx. 5000 persons per day.
The Prague Castle Administration does not guarantee one's place in the queue.
Persons using wheelchairs access the exhibition directly from the 3rd Courtyard. Please contact the present members of the Castle Guard.
Security Information – Vladislav Hall
All visitors will walk through detection frame.
All luggage must be left in the cloak room.
Liquids (e.g. water bottles) are not permitted in the Vladislav Hall.
Entrance with dogs and prams is not permitted in the Vladislav Hall.
