New Town Brewery in Prague

Novoměstský Brewery Prague: Great food washed down with exceptional beers.

In 1993 the Novoměstský Brewery was the first microbrewery to open in Prague in the 20th century; today it houses a large theme restaurant and offers a range of Czech dishes. The restaurant is adorned with images of Český Krumlov and other chateaux in the Czech lands. Enjoy a beer with friends, and if it’s to your liking, order a 10 litre barrel to your table. Alternatively you can order a gourmet tasting session of four different beers. The range of meals on offer is just as varied and interesting – here you’ll find succulent beef goulash stewed in dark beer, grilled sausage with a variety of dumplings, horseradish sauce with chilli peppers and specialities designed for more than one diner to share, including roast goose with the skin done crispy, filled with almond stuffing and served with red sauerkraut and three kinds of dumpling.
