Toyota Turns Prague into a Playlist

In a new advertising campaign, Prague pulsates with life and above all the most famous musical hits.

The Automaker Toyota has chosen the center of the Czech capital for the introduction of its Yaris Hybrid.

The agency Saatchi & Saatchi, which has prepared the Yaris European promo in Prague, transformed the streets of Malá Strana and Hradčany into a city of music. Drivers passing through the center near Prague Castle or Charles Bridge therefore get to enjoy the playlist, whose songs vary according to the street they are just entering. The advertisement gives some streets, including Kanovická Street and Pohořelec Street, new names. They became the hits Good Vibrations, Disco Inferno and Born to be Wild. The trip through Prague’s "Musical City" starts at Hradčanské náměstí with the hit Uptown Girl by Billy Joel and ends at the same place with the song Total Eclipse of the Heart by Bonnie Tyler. The campaign in Poland, Sweden, France, Hungary, Italy, Denmark, Germany, Spain, the UK and the Czech Republic was kicked off on 30 July.
