This race, which is unique in our country, will be held for the sixteenth time this year. Who would have thought that it would be possible to hold a dog sled race in the Czech Republic, which would even go on to become one of the most prestigious in Europe. And in fact it was and it did!
Musher races are held every year in the last week of January. Competitors race along a very demanding route which is hundreds of kilometres in length, and which leads through the beautiful countryside of the Eagle Mountains on the Czech and Polish side. Thanks to the efficient organisation of the organisers, the event stands its ground in comparison with events held in the Alps.
