Location: Ball Game Hall at Prague Castle
Organizer: Collegium Marianum – Týnská vyšší odborná škola, s.r.o.
Come and have fun in the beautiful rooms of Prague Castle at a performance of the Collegium Marianum ensemble, which will be performing selected scenes from Molière’s comedies.
This ensemble’s Early Evening Baroque performances link on from the tradition of regular concert life in the Old Town of Prague, which was established by Count Hartig in 1713. The thematic programmes reflect the various forms of cultured entertainment in Baroque society and also the sequence of festivals throughout the church year (Advent, Christmas, Lent and Easter).
On 6 March, you will have the opportunity to listen to the music of Charpentier and Lully in the Ball Game Hall at Prague Castle and to have fun watching theatrical scenes from Molière’s comedies The Imaginary Invalid, The Learned Ladies and The Doctor in Spite of Himself.
