A late-Baroque chateau on the site of a Gothic stronghold, expanded at the end of the 16th century; part of the fortifications with bastions has been preserved. The permanent exhibition focuses on the family history of the Černín dynasty, the linguist Josef Dobrovský a the period of national awakening, poet a writer Jaroslav Kvapil, a pedagogue K.S. Amerling. The so-called Angels‘ Room dates back to 1600.
