143rd anniversary of the Battle of Hradec KrálovéThe Chlum elevation, northwest of Hradec Králové, was the site of a battle between the Prussian and Austrian armies on 3 July 1866. Every year, on the battle’s anniversary, battle re-enactments and reverent commemorations for the fallen soldiers are held in the area of the memorial sight.
