Low prices and discounts

back to list

The Czech Republic offers services of a quality comparable to anywhere in Europe, but often for a much lower price. This is particularly true of accommodation, dining, shopping, entrance fees and public transport. Transport is in fact among the cheapest in all of Europe.

Practically all attractions, whether museums, galleries or castles, offer discounts for children. Usually, children under the age of six have free entrance or free transport. The majority of public attractions offer an advantageous family entrance policy – 2 adults and at least one child often cost less than two adult tickets. Group discounts for two or more persons travelling on the same ticket also hold for services on Czech railways.

Factoring together accommodation for a family of four in Prague in a family pension with breakfast, lunch and dinner in a good restaurant and tickets for the Prague public transport network, you can pay for an unforgettable day in the Czech capital a mere 150 EUR. Yet a day of a wonderful holiday elsewhere in the Czech Republic can cost still less. It all depends on what you choose to do.
