The CGF acts as the national governing body which represents Czech golf ininternational bodies and institutions. The CGF is especially focused on creatinggood conditions for golf competitions, organising top national tournaments,overseeing the Czech Republic’s international team, protecting the interestsof its members in relation to other bodies, creating the technical and organisationalfoundation for golf to prosper in the Czech Republic, aiding the developmentof the sport, developing economic activities and acting as a disciplinary body.

The Czech Golf Travel Association is an open association whose task is topromote incoming golf tourism in the Czech Republic. The membership of theassociation is made up of organisations and companies who contribute to thedevelopment of golf tourism, and who have an interest in helping this partof the market expand. These are mainly golf courses, travel agents, travelcompanies, hotels, restaurants, transport companies, airlines and many others.

The Hanuš Goldscheider Foundation for the development of golf, which has itsheadquarters in Prague, was set up on June 21, 2001. The basic idea behindthe foundation is to pool funds one umbrella organisation and use them to developgolf in the Czech Republic, with special attention given to promoting the sportamong the young.

The Czech Professional Golfers’ Association is a member of the European PGA(Professional Golfers' Association). It now has over 100 members, and everyyear the number of tournaments organised by the association grows. The CzechPGA not only trains outstanding coaches, but also develops other activitiesto increase the number of golfers in the Czech Republic. An integral part ofthe Czech PGA’s activities is working with companies who wish to use golf topromote their brand.

The Czech Green Keepers Union was established in December 1999 as a professionalassociation. Its main task is to promote and improve the standard of greenkeeping in the Czech Republic. To this end, the Czech Green Keepers Union holdsseminars, has articles translated from golf publications in countries withmore developed golf environments and by providing the maximum amount of informationto its members.

The CSGA brings together senior members of golf clubs in the Czech Golf Federation(CGF) to take part in sport and social activities related to golf, taking intoaccount the specific interests of elderly players. Any member of the CGF whohas reached, or will reach, senior status in the year they apply (55 for men,50 for women), can join the CSGA.

The Czech Senior Professional Golf Association (CSPGA) is an organisationwhose aim is to hold events for golfers over 50, organise tournaments, promotegolf, inform the public about golf, help young people to learn the game andto attract the young into the sport.
