Jihlava Zoo opens its new bear exhibition Replacing an unsuitable building nearly 50 years old, the Jihlava Zoo has constructed a new exhibition for its Malaysian bears. In this unique cliff-based exhibition with flowing water and rock-side caves, we can see these animals in conditions as near as possible to their natural habitat. The exhibit is open as of April 2009.

Three new four-seat chairlifts transport twice as many skiers to both peaks of the Kramolín and Slupečný vrch downhill runs. The new Lipno represents the greatest modernisation leap in the history of Czech skiing.
