Hotel Brewery Excelent Rýmařov

Situated in the foothills of the Jeseníky mountain range in a tranquil part of Rýmařov, the restored building of the Excelent city brewery in Rýmařov now serves as a restaurant and hotel. The brewery has been renovated after 100 years and, in addition to stylish accommodation and quality cuisine, it now provides an extraordinary experience. The brewery still produces beer bearing the Rýmařov name based on the old recipes and which has its own characteristic taste. The city’s brewing tradition, dating back to 1662, is thereby reconstructed.
The brewery produces three beers – an 11-degree pale lager, a special dark yeast beer, and a semi-dark 13-degree lager with a raspberry flavour. Beer is tapped directly from tanks that are situated in a cellar several hundred years old. The beer is poured in its natural condition without thermal or chemical stabilisation – as only a brewery’s master brewer would normally be allowed to drink it.
The Excelent Restaurant plans to tap six types of beer, of which three are from its own production. The selection of beer will be updated with special types several times a year.
