The Museum of Black Theatre in Chrudim

Close to the well-known Museum of Puppetry Cultures, the Museum of Black Theatre has been opened in the former Capuchin monastery in Chrudim. The museum is unique in Europe.
Visitors to the museum can see a variety of puppets, scenery and stage props from both Czech theatres and from German and Swiss puppet theatres. The exhibition is set in black rooms and the luminescent illumination makes it very impressive.
The museum is situated on the first floor of the monastery.
