Historical Celebrations of Zacharias of Hradec and Catherine von Wallenstein in Telč

The Renaissance nobleman Zacharias of Hradec and his wife Catherine von Wallenstein return every summer to the Telč dominion. A magnificent procession passes through the town. The celebrations include contemporary music and dances, theatrical and conjurer performances, falconers, jugglers, a showing of historical weapons, battling knights, and a crafts fair. The mystical fire night is an unusual experience.
