The ancient folk festival was registered in UNESCO’s List of Masterpieces of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity in 2011. The festival culminates with the ceremonial procession of the king and his entourage on adorned horses, which passes through the entire village. The festival includes the performances of folklore companies, brass bands and dulcimer music concerts, wine tasting, a craft fair, and exhibitions.
