The festival contributes a series of great concerts to the summer atmosphere and mood of the inhabitants of Prague and tourists from around the world. The inspiration for Prague Proms was London, where BBC Proms, traditional promenade concerts (Promenade Concerts → Proms), are considered to be the climax of the season.
