The central square of Prague’s Kampa Island, not far from Lesser Town and Charles Bridge, is the venue for not only exhibitions and social events, but also for famous pottery markets. They have hundreds of years of tradition and today’s is being organized for the ninth year by the civic association Sananim. There will be two dozen stalls offering traditional Czech earthenware for sale, as well as presenting other renowned crafts. The pleasant atmosphere is accompanied by concerts, fairytale theater, clowns, games for children, and refreshments.
