Prague Folklore Days

Jul 23, 2015Jul 26, 2015

A colorful summer festival of folk dance troupes and folk choirs.

Participants of the eighth International Meeting of Folklore Groups have a great opportunity to introduce the folklore and traditions of their regions and countries to thousands of spectators from around the world. The backdrop for the biggest event of its kind in Central Europe is Prague, the magically beautiful city in the heart of Europe. Performances take place on outdoor stages in the center: on Old Town Square, Wenceslas Square and Republic Square. The climax of the festival is a parade of the performing groups through the alleyways of Old Town.
