Magdalena Kozena will sing in Prague

Less than a week after Magdalena´s performance at the gala concert of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra in Prague, Magdalena will offer to the listeners a real musical treat in the form of full-length recital. At the concert that takes place on Monday May 6th at 7:30 pm in the Spanish Hall of Prague Castle, she will first sing, accompanied by renowned British pianist Malcolm Martineau, the series of works by Maurice Ravel: Nature Stories, Two Hebrew melodies and Songs of Madagascar in which Kaspar Zehnder will play the flute and Tomáš Jamník the cello. The French music will be followed by a dramatic cantata Ariadne at Naxos by Joseph Haydn. At the end of the evening Magdalena will sing Village Scenes composed by Béla Bartók.
This solo performance Magdalena presents only in two European cities: in Prague, and in London's Barbican Hall.
