Jun 2, 2014Jul 20, 2014
The Year of Czech Music is an extraordinary cultural event that since 1924 has commemorated the major figures of Czech music. It will include the 160th anniversary of the birth of Czech composer and teacher Leoš Janáček (1854-1928). Janáček’s music will be celebrated at the 21st International Music Festival Janáček Hukvaldy 2014. Concerts will take place mostly in the open air or on the grounds of Hukvaldy Castle and in a nearby game reserve.
