The festival presents the lost arts of Baroque musicians, dancers and singers in the spirit of the contemporary interpretation of old music. It takes place in the authentic historic areas of the town and the Český Krumlov chateau. Each year the festival includes the modern world premiere of a baroque opera that is fully staged in the unique preserved baroque theatre in the chateau.
