Learn about the ritual of burial during the Stone Age!

This labyrinth of tunnels and caves in the depths of Třesín hilltop northwest of Olomouc was already inhabited during ancient times; the age of the tools, hearth and bones of the people and animals there is estimated to be 35,000 years old. The cave with many stalactites and stalagmites are still a haven for speleology and archaeology. The most beautiful part of the underground area includes the Temple of Nature and the Virgin Cave. You can enjoy a narrative exhibition with figurines of prehistoric people, depicting their ancient ritual, in the Dome of the Dead.
