Just like elsewhere in Central Europe, the tradition of Christianity stretching back more than a thousand years laid the foundations for numerous cultural monuments. Walk through the corridors of old monasteries and see the unique Turin Shroud in Broumov Monastery. The most remarkable of these include St. Vitus Cathedral at Prague Castle and the two churches in Kutná Hora: the Gothic Church of St. Barbara and the Cathedral of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, registered among the UNESCO monuments. Set out in the footsteps of pilgrims of old to Velehrad and also visit the Child of Prague in the Church of Our Lady Victorious.
