Jeseníky in the winter

Jeseníky Mountains

Enjoy the beauty of winter in the Jeseníky Mountains!

Jeseníky Mountains Štefan Špic

The Jeseníky Mountains are an ideal destination for those who seek the perfect environment for winter sport. Thanks to great snow conditions every year, many kilometres of groomed cross-country and downhill pistes, but also the possibility to relax comfortably in the local spa, you can spend a perfect winter holiday which you will remember for a long time.

Huge valleys surrounded by protracted hills are characteristic of the Jeseníky Mountains. The local ski resorts offer everything you need for an undisturbed winter holiday full of active relaxation, fun, beautiful nature and exceptional culinary experiences.

For perfect winter moments

Do you want to enjoy an ideal day on perfectly prepared slopes? Then visit the Ramzová ski resort. At this largest ski area in Moravia you will find all you need, from flawless downhill terrain and modern lifts to a wide array of accommodations. Excellent conditions for downhill skiing are also offered at Dolní Morava. This popular ski resort is located directly on the slopes of Králický Sněžník and has downhill pistes, a children’s ski slope, a toboggan run and also a track where you can enjoy the fun of snow-tubing. If you like wide slopes, visit the ski resort in Kouty nad Desnou. Here you will find one of the best-equipped ski centres in Moravia, which, among other things, offers the first six-seat chair lift in the Czech Republic.

On cross-country skis to the top of the Jeseníky Mountains

Bare plains and sierra trails, all perfectly marked – this is the Jeseníky Trail, which is an absolute paradise for cross-country skiers. This groomed trail leads you to the highest parts of the Jeseníky Mountains, where you will be rewarded with magnificent views far and wide.

Pamper yourself in the Jeseníky spas

In the Jeseníky Mountains you can unwind not only on the local slopes but also in one of the many nearby spa centres. Nature has been kind to the Jeseníky region in many respects, and you can indulge yourself with both hot and cold springs. You can regenerate tired muscles, for example, in the romantic environment of Karlova Studánka (Charles’ Spring). Thanks to the air here, which is the cleanest in Central Europe, you can fully relax and replenish your energy resources. You can also visit the Jeseník Spa, whose hydrotherapy treatments are famous throughout the world. You will definitely want to take a stroll through the unique local outdoor balneo park, which is designed as a water garden. Along a stream at individual stations you can indulge in a pleasant foot bath with acupressure, a wide menu of spritzers, or a terrace where you can enjoy uninterrupted rest. Would you like to warm up nicely after a day on the slopes? There is no better place than the thermal swimming pool at the Velké Losiny Spa.
