panorama is more captivating:
the one from the river, looking up
at the unmistakable silhouette of Prague
Castle, or the view from the terraces
and windows of Prague Castle, looking
down at the magical city with its
hundreds of towers and monuments
dotting the hills on both banks of the
Vltava River, spanned by a procession
of historical bridges. In any case,
Prague Castle with St. Vitus Cathedral
is a national treasure, the symbol
of Czech statehood, and the place that
most contributes to Prague’s reputation
as a city of unparalleled beauty.
