Meeting of Witches, Day of the Children, Day of the Miners
OKD Mining Museum in Ostrava
The museum documents the history and technical development of coal mining in the Ostrava-Karviná district. A part of the exposition is going down the mine pit, sightseeing of 250 m of mine corridors, collection of mining machines and reconstructed settlement of the hunters of mammoths. The area also offers tennis courses and rope centre, in the surroundings there is an educational path and observation tower.
