Archbishop's Wine Cellars in Kroměříž

The cellars under the Archbishop's chateau were founded during the 13th century by the Olomouc bishop Bruno of Schaumburk. The privilege of production of natural mass wines that mature till today in the wooden barrels deep in the underground was granted to the locals by Emperor Charles IVth. The sightseeing may be connected with gestation of mass wines and feasting, purchase of wines and visit of the chateau vinothéque.
