Šachova Synagogue in Holešov
The Renaissance synagogue with valuable wall paintings of 1737 represents the unique style of Polish synagogues and belongs among the most valuable monuments of its kind in the Czech Republic. It bears the name of rabbi Sabbatai ben Meir ha-Kohen called Šach whose Baroque tomb at the Jewish cemetery in Holešov is the aim of the pilgrims from the whole world.
