Svatý Hostýn
The 735 m high Hostýnská hora with the pilgrimage basilica of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary is the most memorable and most frequently visited pilgrimage place of Moravia. A significant event became the coronation of the Virgin Mary of Svatý Hostýn in 1912, on the 70th anniversary of coronation the Pope John Paul IInd granted the title to the temple of basilica minor. The Way of the Cross by architect D. Jurkovič is inspired by folk architecture of Wallachia.
