Archbishop's Chateau and Gardens Kroměříž
The Baroque chateau served as residence of the Olomouc bishops. Excelling from the richly equipped interiors is the picture gallery with a valuable collection of pictures of European masters of the 15th – 18th centuries. The chateau is completed by unique historic gardens, the Podzámecká garden in the naturally landscaping arrangement and the late-Renaissance Květná garden with geometrically designed beds, central pavilion and colonnade. The chateau and the gardens have been inscribed since 1998 into the UNESCO list of monuments.
