Protected Landscape Area Bílé Karpaty

The UNESCO biospheric preserve at the border between Moravia and Slovakia is partly an unbound nature, partly the landscape inhabited by man, where the co-existence of the people with the surrounding environment serves as one of the examples of permanently maintainable development. The admirable variety of local flora and fauna creates ideal conditions for ecological agriculture and development of agricultural tourism.
