Pilgrimage Church of the Name of the Virgin Mary in Křtiny

The monumental Baroque area of one of the most frequently visited pilgrimage places in Moravia, fitted in a masterly manner into the landscape, originated according to the project of J. B. Santini. The pilgrimage tradition is connected with the Gothic sculpture of the Madonna located on the main altar. Situated in the surrounding forests is the Foresters' Slavín, arboretum with a number of tomb-stones.
