Spring – opening of the permanent natural science exposition
South-Moravian Museum in Znojmo
The museum founded in 1878 administers several permanent expositions in Znojmo and surroundings. Located at the Znojmo castle with the valuable rotunda of the Virgin Mary and St. Kateřina is a historic exposition and lapidary. In the Minorites' monastery there is the seat of the natural science, archaeological and numismatic collections together with a unique collection of Oriental weapons, the museum also administers the castle Cornštejn and the Memorial of P. Diviš in Přímětice.
