Chateau Strážnice
At the place of the neo-Renaissance chateau, the seat of the National Institute of Folk Culture with rich library and a unique exposition of instruments of folk music, located originally was a fortress, the supporting point and the guard at the Moravian-Hungarian border. In the chateau park every year the International Folklore Festival Strážnice takes place, one of the oldest and largest festivals of its kind in the world.
