VI. – concerts of the international musical festival Concentus Moraviae22. -29. VII. – Folk holidays – multi-genre musical festival with accompanying art workshops (the 21st year)
16. IX. – 16. Chateau concert – the culmination every year of the musical season at the chateau, a unique programme consisting of the music of the 18th – 19th centuries with stress laid on the rich musical tradition of the chateau of Náměšť, a set of historic brass instruments Philidor Ensemble from France.
Chateau Náměšť nad Oslavou
The Renaissance chateau adapted in the Baroque style, surrounded by English park with maintained observation points, served till 1946 as the seat of the Czechoslovak president. The visitors will see the study of dr. E. Beneš, richly decorated library and valuable collection of historic tapestries from Renaissance to the 19th century. The arcade courtyard is decorated by Neptun fountain.
