Municipal Fortifications in Polička
The historic core of the town is surrounded by a ring of municipal fortifications, the 1 220 m long oval, reinforced by nineteen regularly located towers. Open for the public is the moat, moat wall, mounds and other parts of the fortifications. Another interesting point is the observation tower of the church of St. Jakub with the native room of the composer B. Martinů.
