Chateau and National Stud in Kladruby nad Labem
The stud, together with the Renaissance chateau, was founded by Emperor Maxmilián II. in 1579. The Old-Kladruby (Starokladrubští) horses are bred here, a warm-blooded breed cultivated for coach service in which monarchs' and aristocratic courts all over the world are interested. The stud, together with the basic herd of horses was declared national cultural monument.
