Castle Pecka
The best-known owner of the Gothic, re-built in Renaissance style, castle was Kryštof Harant of Polžice and Bezdružice (1564-1621), a renowned traveller, writer and musician. A part of the exposition devoted to the right of torture is mediaeval torture chamber, black kitchen and cellar gallery of modern sculptural art, from the castle there is a beautiful view of the Sněžka.
