Český ráj (Bohemian Paradise)

The remarkable landscape on the middle flow of the Jizera river, where the diversity of natural beauties is completed by the richness of historic monuments, castles, chateaus and folk architecture. The first protected landscape area of the Czech Republic (1955) was, thanks to its precious geological heritage, declared one of UNESCO European geo-parks in October, 2005.
